Product Highlight : Focal CMS 40

This new work tool was developed to meet the requirement of Professionals as well as demanding home studio owners: to find an ultra-compact studio monitor that combines neutrality, extended bass response, and easy installation.

The CMS 40 is the most compact monitor of the Focal Professional range. Its size/extended bass frequency ratio ensures excellent versatility. This monitor guarantees ultra-realistic voicing, whilst offering optimum acoustic integration in a small room. Its design permits a listening position from 16″ (40cm), even in the least advantageous locations (ex. proximity to reverberating surfaces), ideal for the small home studio.

It was also designed for the Broadcast environment. Its compact size, combined with mounting points at the back and under the monitor, makes it easy to install even in the smallest post-production rooms or OB vans. The recording engineers will also benefit from its small footprint and neutrality. And even in the biggest and best studios, it proves to be an excellent second monitoring system, allowing one to quickly check how the mix translates onto smaller speakers.
